When I first saw that the amazingly talented Zack Arias had a guest blog spot on Scott Kelbys blog, I thought it would be more juicy “one light” tid-bits or stuff.

Little did I know that Zack threw the whole photography world a left-curve and produced one of the most amazing, inspirational videos I’ve seen

Fun pre “day-of” meeting today

Had an awesome meeting this morning (3:00PM) with Julia, the bride with the most gorgeouse hair I’ve ever seen (yes, I’m jealous lol. If you’re reading this Julia, I’m sorry LOL) and her mom Jaci, who has been a blast for the entire ride of a few years of changing dates and delays.

Everytime we meet my day is made because we laugh and giggle so much.
Plus my Triple Venti Caramel Maccioto was 2for1 at Starbucks because they screwed up. Bonus.

This will be a very fun wedding to photograph on St. Pete. Beach!

A few magazine layouts

Slowly getting around to putting together some galleries for this site and tossed up a few magazine spreads I’ve shot recently. Photography is all mine but the layout/design is all the magazine.

I plan on expanding info on each of these shoots to show some of the behind the scenes and other geek stuff.

No Wii for Me

Wow, I figured after the holidays died down that finding a Wii console would not be too hard.

WRONG!

We’ve checked every reputable online outlet and called every store in a 100 mile radious and there are none instock anywhere. The retail stores that get them in unexpectdedly with shipments won’t take pre-orders or lawaways… they tell you to just keep calling or stopping by until you get lucky.

Too many shady sales on ebay and of course the local craigslist has the scalpers that have a few new ones for $350+ when the list price is $249.

Sheesh!

New Year, New Blog, New Start!

Well it’s the very top of 2009 and this particular photographer is quite happy to be passed the holidays.

One outstanding thing for me to be happy about is this website.
Anyone who’s known me for any length of time has known of this domain just sitting here, barely with a website at all and badly neglected.

It took the discovery of the awesome Kertesz blogsite theme geared to photographers from the great minds Marc Fuller and Christine Boulton over at The Agency @ Think to get me inspired and going.

I’m very happy and excited to be starting off a brand new year with a brand new blogsite powered by Kertesz!
If you’re viewing the site around the time and date of this post, you’ll notice I still have much more to do. I’m still constantly discovering little “A-ha!” moments of all the behind the scenes stuff of Kertesz and I still have yet to begin work on the galleries.

The galleries will be fun! I have lots of stuff to share that my friends have not seen or my clients have never seen and a bunch that falls somewhere in there.

Happy 2009 and an especially big thank you to Marc Fuller and his amazing Kertesz product and the great friendly support that comes with!
